Outfitpost; the blazer blues

Yesterday I went out to shop because of study avoidance. I was busy working on school things and stuff and then I suddenly went crazy. I needed to get out and treat myself to a little shopping. I bought a blue blazer, 3 little bracelets, some underwear and a simple little black dress. And I wore the blazer and bracelets today right away, will show you the other stuff tomorrow.
Also will I be an intern at Hema from the 1st of februari so I think I might not be able to post so much from then of. What I will do is try to take pictures in the weekends of what I will wear that week and plan some posts throughout the week. Hope it will work that way. And ohh god.. I am so nervous for the internship, you can be assured haha!

What I wanted to know, what do you guys think of the graphic face on my pictures lately? Like it, or should I just leave it? Opinions wanted!

 

These are the new bracelets, they've got the letters PARIS and NEWYORK on them, also have one in gold with LONDON. Aren't they cute?

  Still in love with the earcuff! Been searching for another one but I can't find a pretty one that doesn't cost too much.. Tips are so welcome!

Have been in doubt wether to wear this nail polish and jewelry or the other one. Sometimes I can be such the doubter. Finally chose the second combination and got lots of compliments on the color combination of the dark green (rose)gold and burgundy.

New In; Primark & New Yorker

I know I know, this will be a quite boring and short message but I just wanted to show you my purchases from Primark thursday. As I promised on my last post!
And since I thought the collection sucked big time it will be all clear in one picture! I also bought a burgundy blouse, which I have been looking for for ages! And this one was in sale, perfect!

Outfitpost; New (Look) Vest

This is what I was wearing today. Stayed home all day to get some school stuff done. I wore a new vest by New Look, got it in Sale, 50% off! Tomorrow I'll be in Rotterdam, at Primark. It's been a while since I shopped at Primark en besides that I need new jeans. One of my favorites is a Primark and it fits so well! Thinking of buying it again (if it's still in the collection) and bleaching one of them. I mean we're talking about an 11-euro jeans here, worth the try, isn't it?

If I can find that one jeans, then of course I will share the DIY of the bleaching with you, for the ones who are interested.

It's the little things

And again, I want to share some of the little things in life that can make you so happy.

• When it's cold outside and you are inside wrapping your cold fingers around a warm mug filled with hot chocolate.

• Getting something done by putting on your puppy face

• Fresh flowers in your home

• When someone cooks your favorite

• Driving home all alone on a drive way

• When you boiled your eggs exactly you want them

• Having tailwind

• Falling on the couch after a long day

• When you and your friend say the same at the same time

 

• Seeing an old friend and realizing you're still friends

• Listening to your favorite song and realizing you know all the lyrics

• They way your hair feels when it's just cut

• When you can feel when someone has missed you more than you've missed them because their hugs are tighter. (I always experience this with my grandparents, they can sure give hugs!)

• That funny sound when you pour the first wine out of the bottle

 I found a way to maintain a complete picture in outfitposts. I always cut my head off because I'm the worst in pictures. And I am not exaggerating, I seriously always look like an idiot in pictures. That's way you guys have never seen my face before, hope it's not something that jams you. Do you like the way I solved this little problem?

Anyway, this is what I wore today. I added the belt again for a edgy touch. The shoes I'm wearing have been standing in my closet for months now and I have worn them for only 3 or 4 times. Guess it's because there not totally my style, that's why I need a belt like that to spice it up a bit. But I have to say, I do love the shoes, and I always get a lot of questions where I bought them. Well, Bershka it is!

Outfit; Inspired by styleoctopus

Yesterday I was checking out Styleoctopus' look, she was wearing a lace dress and a studded belt. This got me inspired because I remembered wearing this kind of belt years (really like ages) ago, think I was 11 or 12. So I decided to go and look for the thing. Found it in a box where I store all of my old belts that I don't wear anymore but plan to wear once again. And this was one of them. I dusted it of and it was ready to join my outfit!

So here it is, my version of the look with the studded belt

 Wore it with very simple black over knee socks.
